Start using SoloMap in about five minutes
You need VS Code, a local project folder, and at least one supported Agent CLI installed on your machine.
1. Install and open SoloMap
Install the extension from VS Code Marketplace or Open VSX. Open your project folder, then run ‘SoloMap: Show AI Roadmap’ from the Command Palette.
2. Register the current project
Choose the folder you want SoloMap to manage. SoloMap creates project records under .solopreneur/ in that folder; your roadmap remains inspectable and Git-friendly.
3. Choose your local Agent CLI
Open SoloMap settings, select Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, OpenCode, Antigravity, or enter a custom executable path. Use the built-in check before the first run.
4. Create and run the first step
Describe the outcome you want, review the generated roadmap, open one active step, and send a bounded task to your Agent. Verify the result before moving the step forward.
What success looks like
After the first run you should have a readable roadmap, one task tied to a specific step, visible execution output, and evidence you can use to decide what happens next.
